Las Vegas - Look at the picture on the right and tell me who #19 is? You'll get a hot dog at Pink's when you come to Vegas. If you can tell me his nickname, I'll throw in the fries!!!

On to this evening. Not sure why the Los Angeles/San Diego/London Chargers opened the season 2-5, but it's nice to see that the Lightning Bolts have figured it out. Beating the Bears 17-16 in week 8 was like so what, but last week's 26-11 W against the Packers was like WOW! The Bolts fired offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt, and replaced him with Shane Steichen. The results were very positive. Philip Rivers was 21 of 28 for 294 yards and NO INTs, while Melvin Gordon (80 yards) and Austin Ekeler (70 yards) led a robust ground game. Not sure why Rivers loves playing in Oakland, but the last few visits to the "Black Hole" have been money-makers. It was 20-6 last year, win & cover. In 2017, it was a 17-16 win & cover for the Chargers. In 2016, it was a 34-31 loss but a cover as a +3.5 point underdog. In 2015, it was a 23-20 loss with another cover as a +4 point dog. And with the L.A. defense allowing just 14.5 points per game the last six weeks, thinking that Lighting will strike again up in Oakland.
