College Football Week 14 Betting Preview

The Big Ten boasts a few interesting matchups this week, starting with a ranked matchup between the No. 10 Indiana Hoosiers and the No. 18 Wisconsin Badgers.

The Hoosiers may own the higher rank but the Badgers are a 14.5-point home favorite at Bovada Sportsbook.

The Badgers’ schedule so far has been a chaotic one with five games canceled due to COVID-19. Last week’s matchup against the Minnesota Golden Gophers was the latest casualty. In three games, Wisconsin is 2-1 straight up and against the spread. Last time out on November 21, they lost to the Northwestern Wildcats 17-7 as a 7-point favorite. At home, Wisconsin has won seven straight while going 5-2 ATS.

Indiana is 5-1 SU and 6-0 ATS on the season following last week’s 27-11 win over the Maryland Terrapins as an 11.5-point favorite. As an underdog, the Hoosiers are a solid 7-1 ATS in their last eight, and on the road they’re 5-1 ATS in their last six.

Wisconsin has dominated this matchup for a decade. The Badgers have won 10 straight against the Hoosiers with an 8-2 record ATS.

Spartans have covered spread in only 1 of last 7 at home

Sticking with the Big Ten, the Ohio State Buckeyes visit the Michigan State Spartans as a 23.5-point road favorite at Bovada.

Ohio State had its game against the Illinois Fighting Illini canceled last week. The Buckeyes last played on November 21 and beat Indiana 42-35 as a 21-point favorite. On the road, the Buckeyes have won eight straight at 6-2 ATS.

The Spartans are coming off a 29-20 upset win over Northwestern as a 13.5-point underdog. At home, Michigan State has struggled lately with a 3-4 record SU and a 1-6 mark ATS in its last seven.

The Buckeyes have won four straight against the Spartans while going 3-1 ATS. On the road against the Spartans, the Buckeyes have won seven straight at 6-1 ATS.

Hokies have won last 2 contests as home underdog
