College Football Week 10 Betting Preview

College football delivers a weekend of ranked matchups in Week 10 starting with the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide at home to the No. 19 LSU Tigers.

At Bovada Sportsbook, the Crimson Tide are 21-point favorites as they look to extend their eight-game winning streak. The Tide are only 4-4 against the spread during their streak, while at home they’ve won 17 in a row straight up with an 8-9 ATS record. LSU has lost its last six against Alabama while going 1-4-1 ATS.

The No. 11 Oklahoma State Cowboys are a 3-point home favorite this week when they take on their state rivals, the No. 8 Oklahoma Sooners. The Sooners have dominated this matchup with a 12-2 SU and 10-4 ATS mark in their last 14 versus the Cowboys. At home, Oklahoma State is 7-1 SU and 5-3 ATS in its last eight.

The No. 6 Clemson Tigers are a 7-point road favorite this week against the No. 20 N.C. State Wolfpack. The Tigers are a disappointing 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games and as a road favorite they’re 12-1 SU and 6-7 ATS in their last 13. The Wolfpack have lost their last five against Clemson and as a home underdog they’re 1-10 SU and 4-7 ATS in their last 11.

Also listed as road favorites this week are the Virginia Tech Hokies and the Penn State Nittany Lions.

The No. 13 Hokies are a 2.5-point favorite this week at the No. 9 Miami Hurricanes. The Hokies have won five straight on the road, but they’re only 2-3 ATS, and in their last five as a road favorite they’re 1-4 ATS. Miami has won 12 straight at 8-4 ATS and is a solid 5-2 ATS in its last seven as a home underdog.

No. 7 Penn State is an 8-point road favorite versus the No. 24 Michigan State Spartans. With a 15-1-1 ATS record in the last 17 games, the Nittany Lions have been one of the best bets in college football. However, they’re 1-3 SU and ATS in their last four versus the Spartans and overall as a road favorite they’re 4-8 ATS in their last 12.

Away from the ranked matchups this week, the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs are a 24.5-point home favorite versus the South Carolina Gamecocks. The Bulldogs have won nine straight with a 7-2 record ATS, but they’re only 3-4 ATS in their last seven at home. South Carolina is 3-10 SU and 6-7 ATS in its last 13 road games.
