College Football Week 10 Betting Preview

College football creeps closer to bowl season and the playoffs as Week 10 arrives with four ranked matchups on the schedule.

Starting things off is the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide at the No. 4 LSU Tigers as a 13.5-point road favorite at Bovada Sportsbook. Alabama has won 10 in a row straight up at 6-3-1 against the spread. The Tide have also won seven straight vs LSU at 4-2-1 ATS. The Tigers have won eight straight at home with a 6-2 ATS mark and as a home underdog they’re 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven.

Sticking with the SEC, the No. 6 Georgia Bulldogs visit the No. 11 Kentucky Wildcats as a 10-point road favorite. Georgia has won eight straight vs Kentucky at 6-2 ATS and is 20-2 SU and 14-8 ATS in the last 22 matchups. Kentucky is 2-8 ATS in its last 10 at home, and 4-4 ATS in the last eight overall.

In the Big Ten this week, the No. 14 Penn State Nittany Lions visit the No. 5 Michigan Wolverines as 10-point underdogs. The Nittany Lions have won their last four road games at 3-1 ATS, and as an underdog they’ve win six straight ATS. The Wolverines are on a seven-game win streak at 5-2 ATS, and against Penn State at home they’re 7-1 SU and 5-3 ATS in their last eight.

Texas 1-7 ATS in last 8 as favorite

Moving to the Big 12, the No. 15 Texas Longhorns are a 2.5-point home favorite vs the No. 12 West Virginia Mountaineers. Texas had a six-game winning streak snapped last week, falling to Oklahoma State 38-35 as a 2.5-point favorite. In their last eight games as the favorite, the Longhorns are only 1-7 ATS. West Virginia has lost seven straight as the underdog at 1-6 ATS and is 3-3 SU and ATS in the last six vs Texas.

Away from the ranked matchups, in the Pac-12 this week the Stanford Cardinal are at the Washington Huskies and the California Golden Bears visit the Washington State Cougars.

The Huskies are a 9.5-point favorite but they’ve lost four straight ATS and eight of their last 10. The Cardinal are 4-4 SU and 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight road games, but they’re 4-1 ATS in their last five as an underdog.

Washington State has been money for bettors, having won four in a row SU and eight straight ATS. At home the Cougars have won 11 straight SU and nine straight ATS. California is 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS in its last six at Washington State.

Back in the SEC, the No. 25 Texas A&M Aggies visit the Auburn Tigers as a 6-point underdog. The Aggies are 7-2 ATS in their last nine and they’ve won three straight ATS at Auburn. The Tigers are a disappointing 1-4 ATS in their last five home games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven overall.

Finally, in the Big 12 the No. 7 Oklahoma Sooners are a 10.5-point road favorite vs the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Oklahoma has won 18 straight road games at 11-7 ATS. As a home underdog, Texas Tech is 1-12 SU and 6-7 ATS in the last 13, but the Red Raiders are 4-1 ATS in their last five at home vs Oklahoma.
