NBA Betting: Cavs & Raptors Busy Week Ahead

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Toronto Raptors both have a busy week on their hands, as each has games on back-to-back nights starting Tuesday.

The Cavaliers visit the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday, followed by a home game versus the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. They last took to the court on Saturday, when they defeated the Denver Nuggets 125-109 as a 12-point favorite at the Bovada sportsbook. With that win the Cavaliers are 5-1 straight up and against the spread in their last six. They also went OVER the posted total for the sixth straight game and the 11th time in their last 13.

The Timberwolves rolled over the Chicago Bulls 117-89 as a 7-point favorite on Sunday. Even with the win Minnesota is only 2-5 SU and ATS in their last seven. They have also been a strong OVER bet, having gone OVER the total in their last nine.

Cleveland has dominated this matchup with five straight wins versus Minnesota at 4-1 ATS. Five of the last six between the two have gone OVER the posted total.

The Pacers face the San Antonio Spurs on Monday before traveling to Cleveland on Wednesday. Heading into Monday night the Pacers had lost three straight at 1-2 ATS. They are 2-5 SU in their last seven versus Cleveland, but a profitable 8-1 ATS in their last nine.

In the second half of a back-to-back this season Cleveland is only 3-7 SU and 2-8 ATS.

The Raptors' back-to-back starts on Tuesday with a road game against the Chicago Bulls. They follow that with a home game against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday.

The Raptors posted a disappointing 102-101 loss to the Detroit Pistons on Sunday as a 7.5-point favorite. Even worse, the Raptors were up by 16 points heading into the fourth quarter. Toronto is 2-4 SU and 3-3 ATS in their last six and on the road they’re 1-6 SU and 3-4 ATS in their last seven.

Chicago was crushed by Minnesota 117-89 as a 7-point underdog on Sunday, their third straight loss SU and ATS. The Bulls own the Raptors with 10 straight wins against them both SU and ATS.

The Hornets will host the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday before traveling to Toronto on Wednesday. Heading into Monday night the Hornets are 1-9 SU and 1-8-1 ATS in their last 10 games. In their last seven against the Raptors, Charlotte is 2-5 SU and 3-4 ATS.

In the second half of a back-to-back this season Toronto is 4-7 SU, but 7-3-1 ATS.
