NCAAB Betting: Hokies Struggle At FSU

The lone ranked matchup on the college basketball schedule Tuesday sees the No. 15 Virginia Tech Hokies visit the No. 18 Florida State Seminoles.

The Hokies are coming off a 77-72 upset win over the Duke Blue Devils as a 3.5-point underdog at Bovada Sportsbook. With the win they improved to 4-1 straight up and 2-2-1 against the spread in their last five. The Seminoles got past the NC State Wolfpack 78-73 last time out but failed to cover as 7-point favorites. That was their third straight loss ATS. In the last 11, Florida State is 10-1 SU and 7-4 ATS, while at home the Seminoles have won six straight at 3-3 ATS. In their last 18 home games, they’re a pristine 17-1 SU, but they’ve been bad for bettors at 7-11 ATS.

The Seminoles have won their last three vs the Hokies while going 2-1 ATS. At home the Seminoles have dominated this matchup with 10 straight wins and a 7-3 ATS mark in the last 10 vs Virginia Tech.

Blue Devils have been money at home vs Demon Deacons

Staying in the ACC, expect the Duke Blue Devils to be heavily favored Tuesday night when they host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Wake Forest was dismantled by the Syracuse Orange 79-54 as a 7.5-point underdog in its last game. The Demon Deacons are 3-9 SU and 4-8 ATS in their last 12, and they’ve been especially bad on the road at 1-10 SU and 3-8 ATS in their last 11.
