NFL Week 10 Slate: Best Betting Matchups

With their season quickly slipping away the Dallas Cowboys likely face a must-win this weekend when they travel to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers.

Dallas has lost six in a row and the 5Dimes oddsmakers have taken notice and listed them as a 1-point underdog. Last week Dallas lost to Philadelphia 33-27 in overtime as a 3-point underdog. Matt Cassel had three touchdown passes, but Dallas still came up short.

Tampa Bay is coming off a 32-18 loss to the Giants as a 1.5-point underdog. Jameis Winston passed for 249 yards with a TD run and most of his passes found Mike Evans, who had eight catches for 152 yards.

Tampa Bay has only three wins in their last 14 games while going 7-7 ATS. Home-field advantage hasn’t meant much for Tampa Bay as they are 1-12 SU and 3-10 ATS in their last 13 at home.

In this matchup Dallas has won the last five with a 4-1 record ATS. The Cowboys have won their last two games at Tampa Bay and covered in both wins.

Also on tap this weekend the Denver Broncos will try to bounce back from their first loss of the season when they host Kansas City as a 5.5-point favorite at 5Dimes.

Denver lost to Indianapolis 27-24 as a 3-point favorite last week. Peyton Manning had two touchdowns and two interceptions. Also hurting Denver was an injury to DeMarcus Ware that will sideline him for a few weeks and an eye-gouging penalty by Aqib Talib that will see him suspended for this weekend’s game

The Chiefs were on their bye last week and in their last game whipped Detroit 45-10 as a 3-point favorite. Four different players scored rushing touchdowns in the victory.

On the road the Chiefs are an abysmal 1-6 SU and ATS in their last seven games. Denver excels at home at 13-1 SU and 7-7 ATS in their last 14.

Back in Week 2 Denver defeated Kansas City 31-24 as a 3-point underdog. The Broncos scored two touchdowns in the final 40 seconds of the fourth quarter on a Manning TD pass and a Jamaal Charles fumble to secure the win.

With that win Denver has won seven in a row versus the Chiefs with a 5-2 ATS record. In Denver the Broncos have won three in a row against Kansas City and they are 12-2 SU and 9-5 ATS in their last 14 home games.

The Patriots also have an interesting matchup this weekend on the road against the Giants.

New England is a 7.5-point favorite as they go for their 12th straight win. Last week the Patriots defeated Washington 27-10 as a 14-point favorite. During their 11-game win streak the Pats are 7-2-2 ATS.

The Giants beat up on Tampa Bay last week in a 32-18 win as a 1.5-point favorite. After a slow start to the season the Giants are 5-2 SU and 4-2-1 ATS in their last seven games.

The Giants have been a major thorn in the Patriots’ side in their most recent matchups. New York has won their last three games against New England and in all three they were the underdog. In their last four games against New England the Giants are 4-0 ATS and in their last seven they are 6-1 ATS.
