NFL Week 11 Slate: Best Betting Matchups

When the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers met up in recent years it was a hard-fought battle between two of the best teams in the NFC. This weekend it looks like a cakewalk for Seattle after the oddsmakers at online sportsbook Bovada listed them as a 13-point home favorite.

The Seahawks are a disappointing 4-5 on the season and are coming off a 39-32 loss to Arizona as a 3-point home favorite. That defeat made it back-to-back losses at home for Seattle, something that used to be unheard of. Before those losses Seattle had won nine in a row at home while going 5-3-1 ATS.

San Francisco is coming off their bye but two weeks ago upset Atlanta 17-16 as a 9.5-point underdog. Blaine Gabbert got his first start at QB this season and had a pair of touchdowns and a pair of interceptions.

Back in Week 7 the Seahawks hammered San Francisco 20-3 as a 6.5-point road favorite. The win was Seattle’s fourth in a row SU versus the 49ers and ninth straight ATS. At home the Seahawks have also won four in a row SU against San Francisco and seven straight ATS.

In the NFC North this weekend first place will be on the line when the Green Bay Packers face the Minnesota Vikings. It’s too close to call at Bovada where this game is listed as a pick’em.

Since starting the season with six straight wins the Packers have lost their last three games and they’ve dropped four in a row ATS. Last week Green Bay fell to Detroit 18-16 as a 10.5-point home favorite. Aaron Rodgers passed for 333 yards with two touchdowns, but the Packers' recent struggles on offense continued.

The Vikings took over first place in the division after defeating Oakland 30-14 as a 3-point underdog last week. Adrian Peterson dominated in the win with 203 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries. The win was the Vikings' fifth straight and by covering the spread they extended their ATS win streak to eight games.

At home the Vikings have won seven in a row SU and they’re 8-1 ATS in their last nine. Green Bay has a lacklustre 3-4 record SU and 4-3 mark ATS in their last seven games on the road. Green Bay has owned this matchup with a 4-0-1 SU and 3-2 ATS record in their last five versus Minnesota and a 9-1-1 SU and 7-4 ATS record in their last 11.

One interesting trend for this matchup, the home team is 7-2 ATS in the last nine.

Also on tap this weekend, Indianapolis tries to maintain their lead in the AFC South without Andrew Luck when they face Atlanta as a 6-point road underdog at Bovada.

Coming off their bye the Colts will turn to veteran Matt Hasselbeck with Luck sidelined with a torn abdominal muscle and a lacerated kidney. It’s awful timing as Indy looked like they were putting it together after upsetting Denver 27-24 as a 3-point underdog last time out.

The Falcons are also coming off their bye week. In their last game they were embarrassed by San Francisco 17-16 as a 9.5-point favorite.

Atlanta comes into this matchup having lost five in a row ATS, all as the favorite. The Colts are 2-2 SU and ATS in their last four road games, while Atlanta is 3-1 SU and 2-2 ATS in their last four at home.
