NFL Week 12 Betting Odds Preview

The Thanksgiving Thursday schedule gets most of the attention during Week 12 of the NFL, but there is still plenty of action on Sunday, including a potential blowout when the Kansas City Chiefs host the Los Angeles Rams.

At Bovada Sportsbook, the Chiefs are 14.5-point favorites, which is the largest spread of the week. Kansas City edged the Los Angeles Chargers 30-27 as a 5.5-point favorite last week to improve to 6-1 straight up and drop to 3-4 against the spread in its last seven games. At home, the Chiefs are 1-5 ATS in their last six, and when favored by double digits they’ve won 10 straight with a 4-6 ATS record.

The defending Super Bowl champion Rams continue to struggle with four straight losses and a 0-3-1 ATS record during that span. Last week, they fell to the New Orleans Saints 27-20 as 2.5-point underdogs. The Rams are 1-6 SU and 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven, and as underdogs they’ve lost four straight while going 0-3-1 ATS.

The Chiefs have dominated this matchup with a 6-1 SU record and a 6-0-1 ATS mark in their last seven vs the Rams.

Underdog Tennessee shooting for 9th consecutive ATS victory

In what looks to be a much closer matchup on Sunday, the Tennessee Titans host the Cincinnati Bengals as 2-point underdogs.

Tennessee upset the Green Bay Packers 27-17 as a 3-point underdog last week to win its eighth straight ATS. As a home underdog, the Titans have won four in a row SU, and they’re 6-2 SU and ATS in their last eight at home overall. Tennessee has been a strong UNDER play for totals bettors at 6-1 UNDER in its last seven.

Cincinnati is coming off a 37-30 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers as a 3.5-point favorite. With that ATS win, the Bengals improved to 7-1 ATS in their last eight. On the road, the Bengals are 9-2 ATS in their last 11.

In last year’s playoffs, the Bengals defeated the Titans 19-16 as a 4-point road underdog. In their last five against the Titans, the Bengals are 4-1 SU and 4-0-1 ATS, and they’ve won four straight ATS in Tennessee.

Browns, Brady’s Bunch have gone UNDER in last 5 meetings

Also on the Sunday schedule, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 3.5-point road favorites when they face the Cleveland Browns.

Tampa Bay is coming off its bye week, which doesn’t bode well for the Buccaneers as they’re 2-6 SU and 3-5 ATS in their last eight post-bye week games. Tampa Bay has been a bad bet lately at 1-6-1 ATS in its last eight. For totals bettors, the Bucs have been a solid UNDER bet at 5-1 UNDER in their last six.

Cleveland is coming off a 31-23 loss to the Buffalo Bills as a 7.5-point underdog. The Browns are 1-6 SU and 2-5 ATS in their last seven. As a home underdog, they’re 1-5 SU and 2-4 ATS in their last six.

In the last five matchups between the Buccaneers and Browns, Tampa Bay is 4-1 SU and ATS. All five games went UNDER the posted total.
