NFL Week 16 Betting Preview and Trends

Week 16 in the NFL begins Saturday with a pair of games, starting with the Washington Redskins at the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans are a 10-point home favorite at Bovada Sportsbook as they go for their fourth consecutive win straight up. At home the Titans have been a good bet at 6-1 SU and 5-2 against the spread in their last seven, and 11-2 SU and 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13. Washington pulled off an upset win last week but still sits at 1-4 SU and 2-3 ATS in its last five. Against the Titans, Washington is 2-7 ATS in their last nine.

Also on Saturday the Los Angeles Chargers host the Baltimore Ravens as a 4.5-point favorite. The Chargers have won four straight at 3-1 ATS and in their last 11 they’re 10-1 SU and 7-4 ATS. The Ravens are 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS in their last five, but in their last 13 games on the road vs teams with winning records, they’re 2-11 SU.

Patriots big home favorites vs Bills

On Sunday the New England Patriots are huge 13-point home favorites vs the Buffalo Bills. The Patriots are a disappointing 2-3 SU and ATS in their last five, but against Buffalo they’ve won four straight SU and ATS. The Bills have lost three straight ATS and on the road against New England they’re 2-15 SU and 7-9-1 ATS in their last 17.

The San Francisco 49ers are coming off a surprising upset win to face the Chicago Bears as a 4-point home underdog. The 49ers have won three straight as a home underdog and they’re 4-2 SU and ATS in their last six vs Chicago. The Bears are 7-1 SU and ATS in their last eight games, but as a road favorite they’re only 3-4 SU and 2-5 ATS in their last seven.

After stumbling last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, can the Los Angeles Rams bounce back as a 14-point road favorite vs the Arizona Cardinals? Following last week’s loss, the Rams are 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10. In Week 2 they crushed Arizona 34-0 as an 11-point favorite and they’re 4-1 SU and ATS in their last five matchups. The Cardinals are 1-6 SU and 3-4 ATS in their last seven at home, but as a home underdog they’re 4-2 ATS in their last six.

On Sunday night, two teams coming off upset losses square off when the Seattle Seahawks host the Kansas City Chiefs as a 2.5-point home underdog. The Chiefs are 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games, but they’ve won three straight SU and ATS vs the Seahawks. Seattle is 6-2 SU and 8-0 ATS in its last eight as a home underdog but is 1-7 ATS in the last eight vs Kansas City.
