NFL Week 8 Betting Odds Preview

Week 8 in the NFL is loaded with divisional matchups starting with what looks like an easy win for the Buffalo Bills when they host the Miami Dolphins.

At Bovada Sportsbook, Buffalo is a 13.5-point favorite. The Bills are coming off their bye week and in their last game they were upset by the Tennessee Titans 34-31 as a 6-point favorite. At home, Buffalo is 9-1 straight up and 7-3 against the spread in its last 10, and as a double-digit favorite the Bills are 14-1 SU and 10-5 ATS in their last 15.

Miami has lost six straight after falling to the Atlanta Falcons 30-28 as a 1.5-point underdog last week. The Dolphins have lost four in a row ATS and they’re 2-7 ATS in their last nine.

In Week 2, Buffalo blanked Miami 35-0 as a 3.5-point road favorite. The Bills have won six straight against the Dolphins at 4-2 ATS and they’re 8-1 SU and 6-3 ATS in their last nine matchups.

Steelers have been profitable bet as underdogs

In the AFC North this weekend, the Cleveland Browns host the Pittsburgh Steelers as 3.5-point home favorites.

An injury-ravaged Cleveland squad is coming off a 17-14 win over the Denver Broncos as a 1.5-point favorite. The Browns are 6-3 ATS in their last nine and when favored they’re 9-2 SU and 5-6 ATS in their last 11.

The Steelers are coming off their bye week 3-3 SU and 2-4 ATS on the season. On the road, Pittsburgh is 1-4 SU and 2-3 ATS in its last five, but as an underdog the Steelers have been a profitable bet at 7-2 ATS in their last nine and 19-9-2 ATS in their last 30.

Colts have covered spread in last four games

In the AFC South, the Tennessee Titans are slim 1.5-point road favorites when they visit the Indianapolis Colts.

Tennessee delivered a surprising 27-3 upset over the Kansas City Chiefs as a 4-point underdog last week. The Titans are 5-1 SU and ATS in their last six games, and on the road they’re 6-2 SU and 5-3 ATS in their last eight.

The Colts have won four straight ATS after getting past the San Francisco 49ers 30-18 as a 3.5-point underdog. As a home underdog, the Colts have lost their last nine games while going 2-7 ATS.

In Week 3, the Titans defeated the Colts 23-16 as a 4.5-point home favorite. The Titans are 3-1 SU and ATS in their last four games against the Colts and also 3-1 SU and ATS in their last four games in Indianapolis.
