Sports Betting Weekend: MLB and UFC 202

Division leaders clash in a possible playoff preview this weekend when the Cleveland Indians host the Toronto Blue Jays in baseball betting action.

Earlier this season the Indians and Blue Jays split a four-game series in Toronto 2-2. Toronto is 4-2 in their last six games against the Indians and 4-3 in their last seven games in Cleveland. Overall the Indians are 6-2 in their last eight games at home and 4-1 UNDER in their last five.

In the National League this weekend the Pittsburgh Pirates will look to extend their four-game winning streak when they face the Miami Marlins at home.

The Pirates have won their last three games against Miami and in their last 11 matchups they're 7-4. Pittsburgh has dominated the Marlins at home with a five-game winning streak and 11 wins in their last 12 against them.

Week 2 of the NFL preseason continues this weekend with three games on the schedule Friday night and seven games on tap Saturday.

On Friday the Dallas Cowboys and their horrendous preseason record take on the Miami Dolphins as a 3-point home favorite at online sportsbook Bovada. Dallas is 1-9 straight up and 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 preseason games. Miami owns a 6-4 record SU and 4-6 mark ATS in their last 10.

Saturday's spotlight is on the Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Rams with the Rams a 3-point favorite. The Rams posted a rare preseason win last week, but failed to cover the spread. In their last 13 preseason games Los Angeles is 2-11 SU and ATS.

NASCAR returns to Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday night for the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race. Kyle Busch, a five-time winner at Bristol, is a +500 favorite at Bovada. Carl Edwards won at Bristol earlier this season and is listed at +800, while Joey Logano, who has won this race the last two years, is also at +800.

UFC 202 is in Las Vegas this weekend with Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz facing off again in the main event. The event is generating a lot of hype following a press conference meltdown by both sides earlier this week. Diaz defeated McGregor by submission at UFC 196 and he's an even-money underdog at Bovada. McGregor checks in as a -130 favorite.
