Tigers vs Mariners in Early Week MLB Betting

The total for Tuesday night's game is set at just 7.5 runs with Kyle Ryan and Taijuan Walker slated to pitch despite each of the Tigers' last 17 games having had nine or more runs scored.

With a loss against the New York Mets on Monday, the San Francisco Giants fell to 0-7 over their last seven games including an 0-3 record in their last three games as the betting favorite. San Francisco will try to break out of their slump on Tuesday with Matt Cain at -140 on the mound against Bartolo Colon (+120) and the Mets. The Giants have been held to three runs or less in each of their last four games.

The Cincinnati Reds came away with a 3-2 win as a +109 underdog against the Washington Nationals in the opener of the teams' three-game series in Washington this week. Cincinnati will once again be in the underdog role in Tuesday's game going off at +135 at Bovada against the Nationals who are a -155 favorite. Tuesday night's game will feature an excellent pitching matchup between two of the MLB's best with Johnny Cueto going up against Max Scherzer.

Bettors that like big underdogs and big chalk plays should enjoy this week's series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Brett Anderson is a -270 favorite at home against Chad Billingsley and the Phillies at +250.

Expect even bigger lines in the Dodgers' favor as the series continues with an Adam Morgan vs. Clayton Kershaw matchup projected on Wednesday and a Kevin Correia vs. Zack Greinke matchup on tap for Thursday. Greinke hasn't allowed an earned run in each of his last four starts.
