UFC 241 Betting Preview & Odds Roundup

UFC fans and bettors get a long-awaited rematch this weekend when the UFC heads to the Honda Center in Anaheim, California for UFC 241: Cormier vs. Miocic 2.

The main event this weekend is a UFC heavyweight title bout between champion Daniel Cormier and challenger Stipe Miocic. At the Bovada Sportsbook Cormier is a -145 favorite and Miocic a +115 underdog.

Cormier and Miocic previously fought at UFC 226 in July 2018. In that bout Cormier defeated Miocic by first-round knockout to take the UFC heavyweight title. Cormier was a +130 underdog in the win.

Cormier will head into the rematch 22-1 with one no contest, with 10 wins by KO and five by submission. He last fought at UFC 230 in November where he successfully defended his title with a win over Derrick Lewis by second-round submission as a -600 favorite.

Miocic is 18-3 with 14 wins by KO. He hasn’t fought since losing to Cormier at UFC 226. Not only did Miocic lose the title, the loss to Cormier also snapped a six-fight winning streak.

Pettis small favorite facing Diaz on Saturday

Also on the main card at UFC 241 is a welterweight bout between Anthony Pettis and Nate Diaz. At the Bovada Sportsbook Pettis is a -125 favorite and Diaz a -105 underdog.

Pettis is 22-8 with 11 wins by KO and seven by submission. He is only 4-6 in his last 10 fights, though, and hasn’t won back-to-back fights since 2014. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 148 in March where he defeated Stephen Thompson by second round KO as a +260 underdog.

Diaz returns to the octagon for the first time since 2016. He is 19-11 with four wins by KO and 12 by submission. He last fought at UFC 202 in August 2016 where he lost to Conor McGregor by unanimous decision as a +105 underdog.

One other notable matchup at UFC 241 is a middleweight bout between knockout artists Yoel Romero and Paulo Costa. Romero is a -160 favorite and Costa is a +130 underdog. Both fighters are returning from more than a year-long layoff.

Romero is 13-3 with 11 of his wins coming by KO. He last fought at UFC 225 in June 2018 where he lost to Robert Whitaker by split decision as a +170 underdog.

Costa is a perfect 12-0 with 11 wins by KO. He last fought at UFC 226 in July 2018 where he defeated Uriah Hall by second-round TKO as a -360 favorite.
