UFC on ESPN 4 Betting Odds Preview

The UFC heads to Texas this weekend, taking over the AT&T Center in San Antonio for UFC on ESPN 4: dos Anjos vs Edwards.

The main event this weekend is a welterweight bout between Rafael dos Anjos and Leon Edwards. At Bovada Sportsbook, the oddsmakers have just barely listed Edwards as the favorite at -120, while dos Anjos is a -110 underdog.

Edwards has won seven straight fights to improve his overall record to 17-3 with six wins by knockout and three by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 147 in March when he defeated Gunnar Nelson by split decision as a -150 favorite.

Dos Anjos is 29-11 with five wins by KO and 10 by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 152 in May, besting Kevin Lee by fourth-round submission as a +100 underdog.

Harris favored over Oleinik in clash of styles

Also on the main card at UFC on ESPN 4 is a heavyweight tilt between submission specialist Aleksei Oleinik and knockout machine Walt Harris. At Bovada, Harris is a -155 favorite and Oleinik a +125 underdog.

Harris is 12-7 and one no contest, and all 12 of his wins have come by KO. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 151 in May where he defeated Sergey Spivak by first-round TKO as a -185 favorite.

Oleinik is an MMA veteran with a 57-12-1 record, including 45 wins by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 149 in April, losing to Alistair Overeem by first-round TKO as a +180 underdog.

Former NFLer Hardy seeks fifth win

One other notable fight on the main card this weekend is a heavyweight bout between former NFL star Greg Hardy and Juan Adams. Both Hardy and Adams are listed at -115 at Bovada.

Hardy is 4-1 with all four wins coming by KO. His one loss was by disqualification. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 150 in April when he defeated Dmitrii Smoliakov by first-round TKO as a -340 favorite.

Adams is coming off the first loss of his MMA career, dropping him to 5-1 with five wins by KO. He fought at UFC Fight Night 151 in May where he lost to Arjan Bhullar by unanimous decision as a -150 favorite.
