Week 14 NFL Betting Preview

The Indianapolis Colts are tied for the top ATS mark in the AFC heading into Week 14 of the season, and they'll be looking to pad that total on Sunday afternoon as they try to cover a spread against the Tennessee Titans for the second time this season.

The Colts were 3-point road underdogs in their first meeting of the season with the Titans back on October 28, but they managed to win outright 19-13 that day to pay off for their supporters on the NFL betting lines at the sportsbooks. That was the fourth straight UNDER result in Titans/Colts matchups over the last two years.

For Sunday the Colts are pegged as 5.5-point home favorites at 5Dimes against the Titans, with Indianapolis currently 8-4 both SU and ATS on the season after they pulled out a win over the Lions last weekend on a late touchdown pass by Andrew Luck. The Titans are floundering at 4-8 both SU and ATS heading into their Week 14 contest.

Indianapolis holds down a playoff spot in the AFC heading into this week's action, while the Denver Broncos have already locked up the AFC West division title at 9-3 SU and 7-5 ATS on the season. Peyton Manning and company are big 11.5-point road favorites at 5Dimes for their Thursday night game against the Oakland Raiders this week.

Oakland fell 37-6 in Denver when those division rivals met on September 30, with the Broncos having no trouble covering a 6.5-point spread in the contest. That was Denver's second straight win over Oakland both SU and ATS, and it was the first UNDER result between the two teams since back in September 2009.

Four other divisional matchups this week have Atlanta at Carolina (+3.5), Chicago at Minnesota (+2.5), Detroit at Green Bay (-7), and Arizona at Seattle (-12), with the Cardinals (4-8 SU, 5-6-1 ATS) riding an eight-game losing streak into that last matchup. Arizona did manage to beat Seattle back on September 9, winning 20-16 as a 2.5-point home underdog that day.

The rest of the early-Sunday slate this week has St. Louis at Buffalo (-3), Dallas at Cincinnati (-3), Kansas City at Cleveland (-5.5), Philadelphia at Tampa Bay (-8), Baltimore at Washington (pick'em), the Jets at Jacksonville (+2.5), and San Diego at Pittsburgh – which is off the board pending an update on QB Ben Roethlisberger.

Other late-Sunday matchups are then Miami at San Francisco (-11.5) and New Orleans at the Giants (-5), with Houston at New England (-4) set for Monday Night Football.
