SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Windows 95 or higher, Pentium 200 or higher, 32 MB of RAM. Sample situations discovered by the pro football Optimizer:
- Philadelphia games: 100% “Under” (25-0) when Philly lost their previous game, won at least 20% of their games to date, and when their opponent’s last game went “Under” (1993-2001 seasons).
- New York Jets: 80% ATS (24-6) as visiting underdogs.
- Home team: 68.35% ATS (54-25) in December when their last game went OVER and the visitors lost their last game.
The Optimizer was developed by Dr. Mike Orkin, a statistics professor and nationally known authority on gambling games. Orkin has appeared on dozens of TV and radio shows, including NBC's "Dateline," ABC's "World News Tonight," and the Discovery Channel's "On the Inside." He is the author of several books, including "What are the Odds? Chance In Everyday Life" (W. H. Freeman and Co., 2000) and "Can You Win? The Real Odds for Casino Gambling, Sports Betting, and Lotteries" (W.H. Freeman and Co., 1991). He has consulted for clients in both the government and private sector and has published numerous research papers on mathematical game theory. Orkin received his B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, Berkeley.
