Recap - Suns Defeat New York 118-97

The battle between the Suns and Knicks didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as New York was handed a 118-97 defeat on Friday at Madison Square Garden.

Phoenix was a favorite by -4.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 213.5.

Devin Booker had 32 points for Phoenix and Chris Paul chipped in with 14 points. Chris Paul had 10 assists for the Suns, while Deandre Ayton was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 13 boards.

The Knicks got a 17-point performance from Kemba Walker, who was supported by 16 points from Immanuel Quickley. Julius Randle had 4 assists in a losing cause for New York, while Mitchell Robinson grabbed 8 rebounds.

The Suns hit the break winning 57-44 before taking care of business in the second half.

New York won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 51-35.

Next game, Phoenix takes its act on the road to face Brooklyn looking for another win. For New York, they head on the road to face Atlanta.
