Milwaukee Falls 131-107 to Suns - Recap

The battle between the Suns and Bucks didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Milwaukee was handed a 131-107 defeat on Thursday at Footprint Center.

Bettors who backed the Suns were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -3.0 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 233.5.

Deandre Ayton had 27 points for Phoenix and Mikal Bridges chipped in with 18 points. Chris Paul had 19 assists for the Suns, while Cameron Johnson was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.

Milwaukee got 21 points from Jrue Holiday in a losing cause and another 21 points from Khris Middleton. Giannis Antetokounmpo contributed 8 assists for the Bucks, while Bobby Portis had 9 rebounds.

The Suns hit the break winning 64-56 before taking care of business in the second half.

Phoenix won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-39.

Next game, Phoenix takes its act home to face Orlando looking for another win. For Milwaukee, they head home to face Portland.
