The Citadel Falls 68-65 Against Chattanooga - Game Recap
Chattanooga grabbed a 68-65 win over The Citadel on Thursday, behind a 16-point effort from David Jean-Baptiste at McAlister Field House.
Chattanooga won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +5.5-point spread as underdogs.
Chattanooga got 15 points from Donovann Toatley and another 10 points from Ramon Vila. Jerry Johnson Jr contributed 6 assists, while Ramon Vila cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
The Citadel got 25 points from Lew Stallworth in a losing cause and another 17 points from Matt Frierson. Lew Stallworth contributed 4 assists for them, while Zane Najdawi had 11 rebounds.
Chattanooga led at halftime, 37-28.
Chattanooga had a 38-34 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Chattanooga heads into a battle against Mercer. The Citadel, meanwhile, will have their next action against Samford.
