Virginia grabbed a 71-56 win over Gardner-Webb on Friday, behind a 23-point effort from De'Andre Hunter at Colonial Life Arena.
Virginia did not, however, defeat Gardner-Webb against the spread, which closed at -22.5 at most sportsbooks.
