Cal State-Northridge Falls 73-67 to Portland State - Recap
Cal State-Northridge was burned for 29 points by Matt Hauser on Friday as Portland State picked up a 73-67 win at The Viking Pavilion.
Portland State won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -7.0-point spread.
Portland State got 14 points from Holland Woods and another 7 points from Ian Burke. Holland Woods contributed 10 assists, while Rashaad Goolsby cleaned the glass with 16 rebounds.
Cal State-Northridge got a 21-point performance from Terrell Gomez, who was supported by 18 points from Brendan Harrick. Darius Brown II had 6 assists in a losing cause for Cal State-Northridge, while Jared Pearre grabbed 7 rebounds.
Portland State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Portland State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 42-30.
Next game, Portland State takes its act home to face Portland Bible College looking for another win. For Cal State-Northridge, they head home to face North Dakota State.
