The battle between Iona and Fairfield didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Fairfield was handed a 78-54 defeat on Sunday at Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard.
Iona won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +2.5-point spread as underdogs.
