Kansas Downs TCU 75-66 - Match Report
Udoka Azubuike scored 31 points and added 14 rebounds for a double-double, leading Kansas over TCU, 75-66, on Wednesday at Allen Fieldhouse.
Kansas did not, however, defeat TCU against the spread, which closed at -16.5 at most sportsbooks.
Kansas got 18 points from Devon Dotson and another 9 points from Marcus Garrett. Marcus Garrett contributed 5 assists, while Udoka Azubuike cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
TCU got a 24-point performance from Desmond Bane, who was supported by 18 points from Edric Dennis Jr.. Desmond Bane had 4 assists in a losing cause for TCU, while Jaedon LeDee grabbed 8 rebounds.
Kansas trailed at halftime, 37-36.
Kansas had a 36-26 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Kansas takes its act on the road to face Texas Tech looking for another win. For TCU, they head home to face Oklahoma.
