NIT Season Tip-Off - Bucknell Falls 81-61 Against Yale - Game Recap
Bucknell was run off the court by Yale on Tuesday as they blasted them 81-61 at HP Field House.
Yale was a -3.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
Azar Swain had 15 points for Yale and Paul Atkinson chipped in with 15 points. Eric Monroe had 7 assists for them, while Jordan Bruner was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.
Bucknell got 14 points from Jimmy Sotos in a losing cause and another 11 points from Avi Toomer. Xander Rice contributed 6 assists for them, while Paul Newman had 7 rebounds.
Yale led at halftime, 43-24.
Yale had a 36-21 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Yale looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Vermont. Bucknell will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Princeton.
