Recap - Northeastern Defeats Elon 66-58

Northeastern got 17 points from Tyson Walker as they ran past Elon 66-58 on Sunday at Matthews Arena.

Northeastern won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -6.5-point spread as favorites.

Jason Strong had 17 points for Northeastern and Shaquille Walters chipped in with 15 points. Tyson Walker had 5 assists for them, while Jason Strong was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.

Elon got a 17-point performance from Hunter McIntosh, who was supported by 10 points from Ikenna Ndugba. Chuck Hannah had 4 assists in a losing cause for Elon, while Hunter Woods grabbed 9 rebounds.

Northeastern was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Elon won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-27.

Northeastern looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Hofstra. Elon will aim to get back on the winning track at James Madison.
