Recap - Kent State Defeats Buffalo 84-81

Kent State got 23 points from Mike Nuga en route to a 84-81 victory over Buffalo on Tuesday at Memorial A & C Center.

Kent State did not, however, defeat Buffalo against the spread, which closed at -4.0 at most sportsbooks.

Kent State got 16 points from Justyn Hamilton and another 12 points from Tervell Beck. Malique Jacobs contributed 6 assists, while Tervell Beck cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.

Buffalo got 22 points from Josh Mballa in a losing cause and another 20 points from Jeenathan Williams. Jayvon Graves contributed 6 assists for them, while Jeenathan Williams had 8 rebounds.

Kent State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Buffalo had a 39-36 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Kent State takes its act on the road to face Toledo looking for another win. For Buffalo, they head home to face Eastern Michigan.
