Vermont Defeats Maine 88-60 - Recap
The battle between Vermont and Maine didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Maine was handed a 88-60 defeat on Sunday at Roy L Patrick Gymnasium.
Vermont got 23 points from Justin Mazzulla and another 17 points from Ryan Davis. Ben Shungu contributed 5 assists, while Robin Duncan cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Maine got 15 points from Stephane Ingo in a losing cause and another 15 points from Precious Okoh. LeChaun DuHart contributed 4 assists for them, while Stephane Ingo had 4 rebounds.
Vermont was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Vermont won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 33-19.
Next game, Vermont takes its act on the road to face Hartford looking for another win. For Maine, they head home to face Binghamton.
