Texas A&M Falls 78-54 Against South Carolina - Game Recap

The battle between South Carolina and Texas A&M didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Texas A&M was handed a 78-54 defeat on Wednesday at Colonial Life Arena.

South Carolina won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -3.0-point spread as favorites.

AJ Lawson had 30 points for South Carolina and Jermaine Couisnard chipped in with 15 points. Justin Minaya had 5 assists for them, while Jalyn McCreary was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.

Texas A&M got a 28-point performance from Emanuel Miller, who was supported by 13 points from Quenton Jackson. Quenton Jackson had 5 assists in a losing cause for Texas A&M, while Emanuel Miller grabbed 6 rebounds.

South Carolina was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

South Carolina won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 44-25.

Next game, South Carolina takes its act on the road to face Mississippi looking for another win. For Texas A&M, they head home to face Tennessee.
