Texas-Permian Basin Falcons vs UTEP Miners Wrap - UTEP Wins 100-81
UTEP scored early and very often on Wednesday, sprinting to a lead and going past the 130-point plateau with a 100-81 win over Texas-Permian Basin.
UTEP got 23 points from Souley Boum and another 16 points from Keonte Kennedy. Jamal Bieniemy contributed 9 assists, while Keonte Kennedy cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Texas-Permian Basin got 26 points from Jordan Horn in a losing cause and another 12 points from Luka Juricki. Quinntez Grimes contributed 4 assists for them, while Adam Rivera had 6 rebounds.
UTEP was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UTEP had a 34-32 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
