Utah State Falls 85-69 to VCU - Recap
VCU got 23 points from Nah'Shon Hyland en route to a 85-69 victory over Utah State on Wednesday at Sanford Pentagon.
VCU won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +2.5-point spread as underdogs.
VCU got 15 points from Vince Williams Jr. and another 10 points from KeShawn Curry. Adrian Baldwin Jr. contributed 7 assists, while KeShawn Curry cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.
Utah State got a 17-point performance from Neemias Queta, who was supported by 13 points from Justin Bean. Justin Bean had 3 assists in a losing cause for Utah State, while Neemias Queta grabbed 10 rebounds.
VCU was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Utah State had a 31-25 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
