Sul Ross State Falls 84-65 to UTEP - Recap
UTEP got a 34-point performance from Souley Boum, who added 11 assists as UTEP ran past Sul Ross State 84-65 on Saturday at Don Haskins Center.
UTEP got 26 points from Bryson Williams and another 9 points from Keonte Kennedy. Souley Boum contributed 11 assists, while Bryson Williams cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.
Sul Ross State got a 14-point performance from Julian Paredes, who was supported by 13 points from Tristen Licon. Jake Lopez had 4 assists in a losing cause for Sul Ross State, while Julian Paredes grabbed 7 rebounds.
UTEP was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UTEP had a 36-28 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
UTEP looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the St. Mary's. Sul Ross State will aim to get back on the winning track at Tarleton State.
