Northeastern Falls 62-56 to Syracuse - Recap
Syracuse got 21 points from Joseph Girard III en route to a 62-56 victory over Northeastern on Wednesday at Carrier Dome.
Syracuse earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -17.5-point spread.
Syracuse got 18 points from Quincy Guerrier and another 14 points from Marek Dolezaj. Joseph Girard III contributed 3 assists, while Quincy Guerrier cleaned the glass with 16 rebounds.
Northeastern got 16 points from Jahmyl Telfort in a losing cause and another 9 points from Jason Strong. Coleman Stucke contributed 5 assists for them, while Greg Eboigbodin had 10 rebounds.
Syracuse was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Syracuse had a 33-30 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Syracuse looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Buffalo. Northeastern will aim to get back on the winning track at Georgia.
