Recap - Baylor Defeats Hardin Simmons 104-59
The battle between Baylor and Hardin Simmons didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Hardin Simmons was handed a 104-59 defeat on Wednesday at Ferrell Center.
Johnathan Motley had 23 points for Baylor and Rico Gathers chipped in with 20 points. Lester Medford had 13 assists for them, while Taurean Prince was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.
Hardin Simmons got a 11-point performance from Chris O'Neal, who was supported by 10 points from Cameron Barnes. Chris O'Neal had 6 assists in a losing cause for Hardin Simmons, while Justin Jones grabbed 8 rebounds.
Baylor was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Baylor won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 53-22.
