Bucknell Downs Lafayette 78-55 - Match Report
The battle between Bucknell and Lafayette didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Lafayette was handed a 78-55 defeat on Wednesday at Kirby Center.
Bucknell got 14 points from Zach Thomas and another 14 points from Kimbal Mackenzie. Stephen Brown contributed 8 assists, while Zach Thomas cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Lafayette got a 11-point performance from Hunter Janacek, who was supported by 10 points from Matt Klinewski. Nick Lindner had 7 assists in a losing cause for Lafayette, while Kyle Stout grabbed 12 rebounds.
Bucknell led at halftime, 40-24.
The rebound battle favored Bucknell as they grabbed 49 boards, while Lafayette only had 39
Next game, Bucknell takes its act on the road to face Army looking for another win. For Lafayette, they head home to face Loyola-Maryland.
