Illinois State cruised to victory on Wednesday, running Quincy out of the gym and running up a 86-57 score at Redbird Arena.
Illinois State got 19 points from Phil Fayne and another 17 points from Keyshawn Evans. Keyshawn Evans contributed 6 assists, while William Tinsley cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Quincy got 11 points from Demetrius Houston in a losing cause and another 10 points from Tanner Stuckman. Ryan Briscoe contributed 3 assists for them, while Bobby Frasco had 8 rebounds.
Illinois State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Illinois State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 37-30.
