Louisville Defeats Notre Dame 82-78 - Recap

Raymond Spalding scored 23 points and added 12 rebounds for a double-double, leading Louisville over Notre Dame, 82-78, on Tuesday at Joyce Center.

Louisville was a +2.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.

Louisville got 22 points from Quentin Snider and another 14 points from Deng Adel. Quentin Snider contributed 7 assists, while Raymond Spalding cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.

Notre Dame got a 23-point performance from Matt Farrell, who was supported by 22 points from Martinas Geben. Matt Farrell had 8 assists in a losing cause for Notre Dame, while Martinas Geben grabbed 17 rebounds.

Louisville led at halftime, 30-29.

Notre Dame had a 44-33 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Louisville takes its act home to face Boston College looking for another win. For Notre Dame, they head on the road to face Clemson.
