Ottawa Defeats Saskatchewan 44-41 - Recap

The RedBlacks got a 3-TD performance from Dominique Davis as Ottawa handed Saskatchewan a 44-41 defeat on Thursday at TD Place Stadium.

The RedBlacks won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -4.5-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.

Dominique Davis completed 30 of 39 pass attempts for 354 yards and 3 TDs for the RedBlacks in the win.

Marcus Thigpen rushed for 57 yards for Saskatchewan, while William Powell added 45 yards. Cody Fajardo threw for 360 yards for the Roughriders, while receivers Kyran Moore and Shaq Evans had 117 and 103 yards respectively.

Saskatchewan outgained Ottawa 468-447 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 26-22 by the Roughriders.

Ottawa lost the time of possession battle 30:33-29:27, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Ottawa looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Blue Bombers. The Roughriders will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Toronto.
