Recap - Roughriders Defeat Montreal 17-10

Saskatchewan earned a 17-10 victory over Montreal on Friday in Week 9 action at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

The Roughriders were a -3.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 48.0.

Cody Fajardo rushed for 48 yards, while Kyran Moore added 10 yards in the win. Kyran Moore and Naaman Roosevelt added 50 and 37 receiving yards respectively.

Jeremiah Johnson rushed for 38 yards for Montreal, while Matthew Shiltz added 13 yards. Matthew Shiltz threw for 43 yards for the Alouettes, while receivers Spencer Moore and Jeremiah Johnson had 42 and 24 yards respectively.

Montreal lost the offensive yardage battle to Saskatchewan 231-141 yards in Friday's game. Saskatchewan had more first downs as that total ended up 13-8.

Saskatchewan led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 22:58-19:21 split in that important category.

Saskatchewan looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the RedBlacks. The Alouettes will aim to get back on the winning track at Calgary.
