British Columbia Defeats Montreal 27-18 - Recap

Mike Reilly led the way with 308 passing yards on Saturday as the Lions picked up a 27-18 victory over the Alouettes at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

The Lions were a +2.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 48.5.

Mike Reilly completed 21 of 25 pass attempts for 308 yards and 2 TDs for the Lions in the win.

William Stanback rushed for 139 yards for Montreal, while Vernon Adams Jr. added 44 yards. Vernon Adams Jr. threw for 270 yards for the Alouettes, while receivers Eugene Lewis and B.J. Cunningham had 85 and 76 yards respectively.

Montreal outgained British Columbia 453-395 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-20 by the Alouettes.

British Columbia lost the time of possession battle 31:28-28:32, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

British Columbia heads into a Week 8 battle against the Roughriders. Montreal, meanwhile, will have their next action against Toronto.
