REDBLACKS Fall 24-7 Against Hamilton - Game Recap

The Tiger-Cats were Week 8 winners on Wednesday, coming out on top of the REDBLACKS by a score of 24-7 at TD Place Stadium.

The Tiger-Cats were a -6.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 44.0.

David Watford rushed for 54 yards, while Sean Thomas-Erlington added 41 yards in the win. Jaelon Acklin and Steven Dunbar Jr. added 44 and 27 receiving yards respectively.

Tim Flanders rushed for 53 yards for Ottawa, while Matt Nichols added 11 yards. Dominique Davis threw for 50 yards for the REDBLACKS, while receivers Ryan Davis and Nate Behar had 37 and 21 yards respectively.

Hamilton outgained Ottawa 233-197 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 13-10 by the Tiger-Cats.

Ottawa lost the time of possession battle 33:34-26:26, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Hamilton takes its act home to face Montreal looking for another win. For Ottawa, they head home to face Edmonton.
