Recap - Argonauts Defeat Ottawa 23-20
The REDBLACKS had no answer for A.J. Ouellette on Saturday as the Argonauts rolled to a 23-20 win at TD Place Stadium.
The Argonauts earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -10.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 46.0 were rewarded with a winning wager.
A.J. Ouellette rushed for 107 yards, while John White IV added 29 yards in the win. DaVaris Daniels and Dres Anderson added 84 and 80 receiving yards respectively.
Tim Flanders rushed for 95 yards for Ottawa, while Devlin Hodges added 25 yards. Devlin Hodges threw for 90 yards for the REDBLACKS, while receivers R.J. Harris and Marco Dubois had 27 and 25 yards respectively.
Toronto outgained Ottawa 431-233 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-13 by the Argonauts.
The time of possession battle favored Toronto as their offense was on the field for 35:24, longer than the 24:36 of their opponents.
Toronto looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Tiger-Cats. The REDBLACKS will aim to get back on the winning track at Montreal.
