Blue Raiders Fall 27-25 Against UAB - Game Recap
UAB got a 156-yard performance from Spencer Brown as a key part of its 27-25 victory over the Blue Raiders on Saturday at Floyd Stadium.
UAB won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +1.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 44.0.
Spencer Brown rushed for 156 yards, while Tyler Johnston added 56 yards in the win. Kailon Carter and Andre Wilson added 43 and 40 receiving yards respectively.
Zack Dobson rushed for 52 yards for Middle Tennessee, while Chaton Mobley added 39 yards. Brent Stockstill threw for 362 yards for the Blue Raiders, while receivers Terelle West and Tavares Thomas had 81 and 63 yards respectively.
UAB lost the offensive yardage battle to Middle Tennessee 456-365 yards in Saturday's game. UAB had more first downs as that total ended up 21-18.
The time of possession battle favored UAB as their offense was on the field for 31:45, longer than the 28:15 of their opponents.
