Western Michigan Falls 49-18 to Cougars - Recap

Zach Wilson's 317-yard performance through the air was the key in BYU's 49-18 win over Western Michigan on Friday at Albertsons Stadium.

The Cougars were a -10.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 52.0.

Zach Wilson completed 18 of 18 pass attempts for 317 yards for the Cougars in the win.

Jamauri Bogan rushed for 62 yards for Western Michigan, while LeVante Bellamy added 56 yards. Kaleb Eleby threw for 175 yards for the Broncos, while receivers D'Wayne Eskridge and LeVante Bellamy had 61 and 45 yards respectively.

Western Michigan lost the offensive yardage battle to BYU 490-313 yards in Friday's game. BYU had more first downs as that total ended up 22-16.

BYU lost the time of possession battle 35:21-24:39, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
