Recap - Sun Devils Defeat Kent State 30-7

Eno Benjamin scampered through the Kent State defense for 102 yards as Arizona State handed the Golden Flashes a 30-7 defeat on Thursday at Sun Devil Stadium.

The Sun Devils won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -24.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Eno Benjamin rushed for 102 yards, while Isaiah Floyd added 34 yards in the win. Brandon Aiyuk and Frank Darby added 140 and 53 receiving yards respectively.

Jo-el Shaw rushed for 67 yards for Kent State, while Dustin Crum added 24 yards. Woody Barrett threw for 83 yards for the Golden Flashes, while receivers Antwan Dixon and Isaiah McKoy had 44 and 26 yards respectively.

Arizona State outgained Kent State 455-200 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 18-11 by the Sun Devils.

The time of possession battle favored Arizona State as their offense was on the field for 34:23, longer than the 25:37 of their opponents.

Next game, Arizona State takes its act home to face Sacramento State looking for another win. For Kent State, they head home to face Kennesaw State.
