Boston College Defeats Virginia Tech 35-28 - Recap

The Hokies came up short against the Eagles in Week 1 action on Saturday, falling 35-28 at Alumni Stadium.

AJ Dillon rushed for 81 yards, while David Bailey added 38 yards in the win. Zay Flowers and Kobay White added 91 and 73 receiving yards respectively.

Boston College lost the offensive yardage battle to Virginia Tech 442-432 yards in Saturday's game. Virginia Tech had more first downs as that total ended up 29-18.

Virginia Tech led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:58-26:02 split in that important category.

Boston College heads into a Week 2 battle against Richmond. Virginia Tech, meanwhile, will have their next action against Old Dominion.
