South Alabama Falls 35-21 to Cornhuskers - Recap

The Cornhuskers were Week 1 winners on Saturday, coming out on top of the Jaguars by a score of 35-21 at Memorial Stadium-Lincoln.

Nebraska was outgained by South Alabama 314-276 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 19-15 by the Jaguars.

South Alabama led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:13-25:47 split in that important category.

Nebraska heads into a Week 2 battle against Colorado. South Alabama, meanwhile, will have their next action against Jackson State.
