Owls Fall 21-13 Against Baylor - Game Recap
Charlie Brewer led the way with 303 passing yards on Saturday as the Bears picked up a 21-13 victory over the Owls at Rice Stadium.
The Bears won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -27.0-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.
Charlie Brewer completed 20 of 27 pass attempts for 303 yards for the Bears in the win.
Charlie Booker rushed for 29 yards for Rice, while Wiley Green added 18 yards. Wiley Green threw for 128 yards for the Owls, while receivers Brad Rozner and Austin Trammell had 100 and 27 yards respectively.
Baylor outgained Rice 427-242 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 20-17 by the Bears.
Rice led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:15-27:45 split in that important category.
Baylor looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Iowa State. Rice will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Louisiana Tech.
