Kentucky Wildcats vs South Carolina Gamecocks Wrap - South Carolina Wins 24-7

Tavien Feaster tore up the turf for 107 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Gamecocks to a 24-7 win over the Wildcats at Williams-Brice Stadium.

South Carolina won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -3.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 54.0.

Tavien Feaster rushed for 107 yards, while Rico Dowdle added 102 yards in the win. Bryan Edwards and Shi Smith added 37 and 30 receiving yards respectively.

Christopher Rodriguez Jr. rushed for 65 yards for Kentucky, while Lynn Bowden Jr. added 44 yards. Lynn Bowden Jr. threw for 7 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Ahmad Wagner and Lynn Bowden Jr. had 35 and 18 yards respectively.

South Carolina outgained Kentucky 387-212 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 21-9 by the Gamecocks.

Kentucky lost the time of possession battle 33:50-26:10, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, South Carolina takes its act on the road to face Georgia looking for another win. For Kentucky, they head home to face Arkansas.
