New Mexico State Falls 30-17 to Bulldogs - Recap

Jalen Cropper ran for 118 yards as Fresno State handled New Mexico State by a score of 30-17 on Saturday at Aggie Memorial Stadium.

The Bulldogs won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -20.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Jalen Cropper rushed for 118 yards, while Josh Hokit added 44 yards in the win. Emoryie Edwards and Derrion Grim added 70 and 21 receiving yards respectively.

Jason Huntley rushed for 82 yards for New Mexico State, while Christian Gibson added 15 yards. Josh Adkins threw for 210 yards for the Aggies, while receivers Tony Nicholson and OJ Clark had 81 and 44 yards respectively.

New Mexico State lost the offensive yardage battle to Fresno State 386-315 yards in Saturday's game. Fresno State had more first downs as that total ended up 18-17.

New Mexico State lost the time of possession battle 35:31-24:29, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Fresno State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Air Force. New Mexico State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Liberty.
